What Sapphire 7970 is it?

I got 1100MHz core clock and 1600MHz memory clocks at stock voltages.

No matter what I set the VDDC to in TriXX, higher or lower, the GPU VDDC goes to max at 1.256V. This is after a pass of 3D Mark.

try to use msi afterburner.

Trixx doesn't have the +20% power draw option.

I believe I have the same card too and for awhile I thought it was voltage locked because MSI AB wasnt changing any voltages for me either and nor was trixx BUT I looked it up enough and found trixx version "4.4.0b mod" and that one worked perfectly and I could get the voltage past stock. I can reach 1125core on stock voltage and with about 1230mv I can get the core stable at 1225 mhz with great temps. This is a great card but it can be a little finnicky(for me atleast) because if I overclock the mem more than say 1475 or 1500 then I'll get weird artifacts or flickering.

This is as high as I can push it without the VRM temp going over 80C.

No matter what I set the VDDC to, even on TriXX 4.4.0b, The GPU VDDC maxes at 1.256 on all tests.

how far have you raised the core clock? maybe its not pushing voltage past 1.256 because it doesnt need to to run that easy OC. try raising the OC to 1250-1275 and higher if those are possible. btw this is just a totally random guess I dont really know if it any merit to it.

I've pushed the core clock to 1190. Any higher then that and its unstable. Still shows it drawing 1.256V. I can't leave it at 1190, the VRM temps rocket up to 80C and i cancel the test
