LC - Post Sale Feedback & Suggestion Thread - Page 2

I placed a first time order with Lutro0 Customs back on 18/03/2013, and I must say that it was an absolutely wonderful shopping experience. I purchased a pair of Knipex 1262180 Self Adjusting Insulation Strippers, let me tell ya, these strippers strip wire like nobody's business, if you do a lot of sleeving, and want to speed up the wire stripping process with good clean results, then the Knipex strippers are for you. The easiest strippers I've ever used, and the quality is unmatched, good grip and they feel comfortable in my hand. the other product that I purchased were the LC Flush Cutters, the LC Flush Cutters are very well assembled and make my cutting/snipping needs a whole lot easier, I'm actually considering ordering a 2nd pair to keep in my tackle box to cut/snip fishing line. smile.gif

I'd have to rate my overall shopping experience on the Lutro0 Customs site a 10 out of 10 stars, the site is very well laid out, and navigation is a breeze. Communication both during and after you place an order is quick and very helpful. My order was shipped so quick, I didn't even have the chance to track it, the order was literally on my doorstep before I even tried to track it, Now that is good! cheers.gif I know for certain that I will be back to buy more items that I have my eye on including a 2nd purchase of the LC Flush Cutters I mentioned above. I highly recommend Lutro0 Customs to all. thumb.gif

I had placed an order for first time a few days last week, firstly I wanna say the shipping was very quick I indeed was impressed by that. Upon arriving everything seemed to be in order the cutter from just holding it was of good quality, I like the LC tool also, though I would like to have gotten the smoked version, but it'll do the job so I'm glad for that. The molex ATX remover & the 4 molex pin remover is new to me I've never owned one so I was most excited to test them out, the 4 pin had a little mishap that the male side pin was not secured to the tool itself, it would slide out and I was able to pull it out but luckily for me I was able to tighten the nut to get the pin secured so no worries anymore. During that time I was PMing Lutro concerning this he was helpful and quick to respond so cudos to Lurto you've got a happy customer, now I'm gonna dive into the world of sleeving for the first time got my order from MDPC on its way to me as I'm typing this so I'm looking forward to use these tools and the guides on my "Black Mamba" project biggrin.gif

ordered some decorded paracord, connectors, terminals, and threading tool and got everything the same week. now, for those that might think that the threading tool is a little steep on the price, spend the money, use it, and completely forget about those "steep price" feelings. It is a damn Godsend! Dont worry about snags or messing up your cord. probably cut the time the job of building 24 pin, 8 pin, and 2 pcie extensions took by 40%!

Needless to say, customer service, shipping, and product are all top notch. Get your stuff from this guy.

Ordered from Lutro0 a week or two ago, despite the order coming from the US to the UK, it came relatively quickly considering the small postage cost. I didn't have to pay any Tax either which was a very pleasant surprise.

The items came packed in a white bag, lined with bubble wrap, I like to ship everything in cardboard boxes for the extra protection but everything did arrive safely. I'll post a photo when my girl friend gets back from her holiday as she borrowed my SD card.

The products paracord threader was loose in the bag, it might be a good idea to put these in with something else, I ordered the Knipex insulation stripper, it would be good if it had been put in that box, or even perhaps just put in the end of the paracord, just so it doesn't somehow leave the package.
I would say it would be almost impossible to sleeve with Paracord without this tool, it works perfectly.

The Knipex insulation stripper is a wonderful tool and it works exactly like it's described, I've been looking to buy an insulation stripper for years but have always just used a knife or teeth, this is a wonderful tool and worth the money.

The Lutro0 Flush cutter is good, it seems to but handling everything well although when cutting sleeve, sometimes if you don't position it quite right, it will miss the bottom stands slightly but otherwise is a good tool.

Cable seems nice, I haven't used it yet but seems good.

I purchased some heatshrink as it's always useful to have some, used some earlier while doing repairs on my partners electric bike.

There was a slight mix up with my order but thankfully Lutro0 soon realised this after shipping my order, before it got to me.

So far I have got my Black coreless paracord and also Black paracord with a core, the latter I did not order, this was part of the mix up, not to worry.

I have used MDPC with heatshrink in the past and this time I'm going for heatshrinkless Paracord, I've never done it before but after watching 5 minutes of one of Lutro0's video on YouTube, I knew exactly what to do and WOW is it easier than using MDPC and heatshrink, it's so simple to do, yes after doing 15 or so cables my finger print areas feel as if I've burnt them slightly but it's truly much easier. The hard part is getting the right length, but measure a master piece that's right and that part is easy too.

The paracord is clearly of an extremely good quality, sleeving Yellow cables is fine, you cannot see a trace and compared to a sleeved cable with Black insulation, look no different.

Another nice thing about paracord is the price, I'm currently doing black with an orange stripe but it's easy and cheap to change in the future unlike MDPC, which always seemed like more of a permanent thing.

I am an extremely pleased customer and cannot wait for the rest of my Paracord to turn up so I can complete my cables, I will certainly be ordering again in the future.

Ordered from the Lutro0 two weeks ago, was shipped four days later, which isn't the fastest service but I was in no hurry so I wasn't too concerned.

The package contained about 60% wire, the rest pins

I received the parcel today so just over a week and a half which is the time I was expecting and it was all in a nice and sturdy box. Though for international shipping, I would have expected there to be atleast a layer or two of bubble wrapping between the merchandise and the box. Just for extra durability. For eg the parcel might fall off somewhere and could have gotten stood on or something fell on it and the pins could have gotten bent. Where as a little bit of bubble wrap would have protected it just a little bit more. There is about 30% air in the parcel which when shipping should be about 5%. The more well packed something is the less there is a chance for something to being damaged!

Now my parcel came all safe and sounds as I was more then happy!
Everything is of excellent quality and I very much look forward to making my cables and sleeving my cables knowing that everything I will be using is as of premium quality.

Thank you lutro0 for opening up your store and providing us sleeve/modders with the items that some of us have been having such difficulties trying to source. Also buying from someone who is well known and that you personally have watched every tutorial at least twice, it gives me great trust to buy from you as you have provided us with such great knowledge of the sleeving world. For without you I would have never sleeved as I never knew how to do it.

I recommend lutro0 to anyone wanting sleeving supplies, and you know that you will get the premium quality items you expect

Thanks man, I look forward to purchasing from you again.

Ps, sorry for buying all of your female ATX terminals, I actually wanted to order twice as much as I did wink.gif

Thanks for the awesome input guys. My shipper is supposed to fill all empty space so I will have to talk with him =X

We are working on gettting some new packing material to make sure everything stays in place.

I will say we are still training the shipping clerk so some mistakes happen. However I always make it right by getting the package sent out with some goodies as an apology. My promise is that I will always make sure that you guys are happy in the end due to a mistake.
