AMD Phenom II X4 B50 - Page 2

i have exact same cpu as you. i can get to 4ghz but its too too HOT!!! i mainly use it at 3.4ghz with HT link 2600mhz and nb at 2600mhz and the cpu voltage is 1.35v if i go over that 3.4ghz i need volts 1.4+ and the heat is not worth it. for example 3.6ghz stable needs 1.475v and its hot and noisy. a quad x4 at 3.4ghz is more than fast enough and cool enough no point for me to go over that. when i had water i was at 3.8ghz / 4ghz gaming. but my cpu block leaked luckily i was ok but i went back to air cooling. may bang a cheap h50 on it. anyway if u need specific settings message me and ill give you my email. ill give you the exact settings which will work stable for you.

Thanks, by the way I installed Aida64 and it seems that I had been wrong about my cpu temp. Usually it has a temperature between 50-60 degrees. It is 30-40 when it is idle. Sometimes I see 70 degrees if I'm playing games like Crysis or SC Blacklist.
