Oh yeah it also have more features like osd options and individual profile for each game...

Also, I said if you take the money out of the equation and still choose the 7970's, and you went there and added money as reasoning for your pick, you clearly don't see the point.

It is free of course we would choose the 2xtitans.. Hell even if is one titan i will still chose that. Guess what?
They are not free...

The GTX Titan is a beast, period. Its an GPU enthusiast dream come through, all I keep thinking is how cool it runs on air. These things are going throw up some ridiculous numbers under water. Its never going to be mainstream card because of its price, its the i7-3960K of GPU's. Its expensive simply because it can be, when there is no competition companies tend to do whatever they want. If the FX-8350 was equal to the performance of the i7-3770k and cost $200 Intel simply could not sell that cpu for $300. AMD does not have a single GPU chip that can compete with the Titan so Nvidia can price it at $1,000, it just that simple.

Cheers and congrats to all those who are running this animal.

I am not saying which was is a wiser choice. I just didn't believe you would post something so long just to say "if money didn't matter u should get the titans." Because, well, duh!

And remember , the toxic was appealing for the 6gb of vram and the massive stock oc. Comparing apples to apples with vram stuck to it is a bit tough as well. Not even considering the custom PCB or cooler.

water won't help oc much if at all, you need an unlocked bios w/o the 265w limit.

The only reason they chose the toxic was for the 6gb vram for more continuity in comparison. That aside, there's no way in hell I'd buy a toxic or vapor x or whatever. Basic 325 buck Diamonds which is what I paid for the three Diamonds I run. Ya know the 7970 Diamonds were on sale for 325 bucks a month or so ago right? How you like them apples?

The Titan is definitely a good card and I am sure future driver releases will improve the sli scaling, but that price point makes it impractical for anything but the benchmark crowd and the "I want the best of the best no matter the cost" crowd.

I'm waiting to see what next generation stuff will be released at the end of the year or early next year before upgrading.

Like everything on pc hardware XD

Lets talk about the titan about 3 years from now and how people went nuts and expended 1k for 1xgpu.. XD

I was having buyers remorse with my 7970 before crysis 3 go out...
This consoles ports just plagued this like no tomorrow... You think all this would change when the next gen of consoles get out? Would be better optimized games. This consoles are the closest to a pc they ever been since xbox...

too bad that this doesn't carry overseas. i'd be lucky to find a 7970 under 500$ let alone 400$ or the amazing sale of 325$.

I got one of my 7970's on the bay for 350 including shipping XD

Even skyrim heavily modded have a hard time using 3gb.. After the amd stutter fixs i dont see this to even reaching that amount of vram...
This is with a modded game... No vanilla...
