I can't see them when cases are closed so no big deal. And besides I'm thinking of putting more OC on my i7 920 so I may very well be able to use the extra fan speed than. I have 2 systems setup now with all case fans running PWM control by CPU fan socket... and couple new ones for mates with some case fans under CPU PWM fan socket and some under GpU PWM fan socket control... So lots of airflow through case when need and dead quiet when it's not. Had to change GPU fans one mate's because it was so obnoxious when everything else was so quiet with TY-143 cooler fans and TY-147 case fans.

So... noise doesn't bother you?
It's a PWM fan mate

I would go phanteks PH-TC14PE, they are the best performing out there, if they don't fit you could try the PH-TC14CS variant which is horizontal, I have absolutely no idea of the compatibility of these, the megahalems Rev, B are good, the thing with any of the above is if they don't fit you can have just a pull or push fan

Just wanted to extend my thanks. I have the Silver Arrow Extreme mounted. The fans are POWERFUL and loud at max. My OC CPU Core temps have dropped from my Mugen 2 by 20 degrees.

I do fear i might have used too much paste but I don't see any spilling over the sides yet and can't be arsed to undo the build. Got no time, but soo far the cooler is doing well.

i7-930 @ 3.8Ghz 1.248V Prime Large FFT max core temp is 65 Degrees

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together. biggrin.gif

I assume most of the time you can't hear the fans?
