G.Skill Trident X 2x8GB DDR3 1866 PC3-14900 (CL8-9-9-24 @ 1.6V 2T)
I've been fighting constantly with this ram running a Tekkit/Minecraft server and playing any other video game. Constantly crashes. I've played with the voltage from stock to 1.65 and in between. I've changed the timing to what my old Corsair Vengeance was running (CL9-10-9-27 2T) and still, crash. I've taken one stick out, same thing, and also swapped with the other stick. Why wont this ram run good on my system?

Gigabyte GA-A75-D3H
APU A8-3870K
Said Trident X RAM
650W PSU
300GB Sata main drive
500GB Sata Storage drive/games/etc..

Just finished with testing of the ram. Did them individually, and then together, absolutely no errors.

Got in contact with G.Skill and was stated that my A75 chipset is too old to run the CL8 but they gave me the timings of 9-9-9-27. Trying them out and hope this fix's the issue. On a side note, updated bios as well and i've been missing out a lot of options. Easy way to overclock ram. preset overclocking the cpu/gpu.

Updates for people who are reading or who might chime in and help. Someone could tell me something that I've already tried so to beat around the bush, I figured updating is a good idea.

Did you boost APU-NB Voltage for stability?

Do you have the latest BIOS?

When testing each module, were they stress stable at rated specs or did you just run memtest?

Cheers
