Increasing BSODS

My computer has been suffering from an increasing amount of BSODS for the past month or so. Most of them have been caused by the module "ntoskrnl.exe". WhoCrashed kept hinting at memory corruption so I removed two RAM sticks which it allowed me to actually boot into windows. Prior to removing the two RAM sticks, I could not do anything at all without getting a BSOD. Couldn't boot into safe mode either. Even though I can get into windows now, it still BSODs after a few minutes after startup. Hope you guys will have some suggestions for me.

Update: I've recently attempted a fresh/clean install of windows 7 using the reinstallation disc but received another BSOD during the process. When I restarted the computer it said "Windows failed to start". It says "Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible." It does this everytime now. Any help is appreciated.

Another Update: I've taken out all but one RAM stick and it allowed me to reinstall windows. So far everything is good and I haven't had a BSOD. One thing I've noticed is my performance is real sluggish and slow. This is probably due to me only have 4gb of RAM. Let me know your thoughts.

Crashes are all over the place and yes I do see lot of memory corruption etc.

What type of RAM are you running.

I was running 16GB DDR3 1333, but have since removed 3 sticks and the crashes and BSOD's have stopped. Either I had bad RAM slots on the motherboard or one or more of the modules are corrupt. How could I go about troubleshooting this? I'm now running 4GB DDR3 1333.

Put a stick in one of the questionable slots until you find the bad one. Also put one of the questionable sticks in and test.
