The matching blocks is something I've been considering. I chose the EK GPU block for looks only but the XSPC isn't' bad either. I may as well just go all out and switch the cpu block to EK as well.
Thanks for your input! I appreciate it. +Rep.
Also any thoughts on the Alphacool fittings? I seen a few reviews on them but not a whole lot.
Thanks! I dont think that you NEED the multiport, looking at my case/rad I dont think there would be any room to utilize them, maybe on the top but not 100% sure. TBH I dont actually know where SLE connected his fill port to. I thought it was to the top of his res but I could be wrong. That is where I connected mine to.
I would suggest going with matching blocks as 1) it looks more aesthetically pleasing. 2) I always believe in not mixing different kinds of metals in blocks and this would keep it all the same. (I know it may be fine but still)
I have never used Alphacool fittings nor have I heard much about them. Is there a particular reason for your interest in them? For me personally I would say:
-Bitspower fittings are amazing!
-EK fittings are great too (little harder to work with but still good)
-Swiftech fittings are decent but seem a little cheap in their paint
-Monsoon fittings while they may look nice they do a good job at what they are supposed to but IMO their quality control SUCKS! and the paint comes of these SOOOOO easy
Have worked with all the above fittings in both my rig and friends.
