My pump is ridiculously noisy even when I lower its speed with PWM control. It's a high frequency ticking noise which ticks faster and faster as I set the PWM% higher and higher. The pump has been bleeding air for about 6 hours now so I'll let it run for a bit more and see what happens. Any tips? I'm using the EK DDC 3.2 PWM pump.

And and BTW, the SP120 quiet editions are loud as hell on 100%. Wouldn't recommend.

Should have enough flow at 30% PWM. Is it quiet then? If still noisy at low speed, make video and contact Ekwb support.

If having trouble bleeding air you can tilt the case to try to release pockets of air from the rads.

It's still ticking no matter how low I set the PWM. Very annoying and I guess I'll try making a video.

my EK 3.2PWM DDC is also pretty noisy.. Pretty heavy whirring noise

Same in my case at 40%. I have it at the moment at 30% and hopefully this is enough. The noise is ok, but could be better and for me i will try a little bit lower, but do not know if this oculd be too low.

This is my system at the moment and i have some things to do and some things to figure out the right solution. I hope you can help me, because i saw some of you are using the Z87 Stinger, too.

At first the picture:

What to do:
-crimping and soldering the pump and the LEDs into the molex 4-pin cable.

AND now the point where I need your help^^

- regulating the fan speed!!! ... In the UEFI of the Z87 Stinger i can only switch to a fixed %-value. So i took 50% which means approximately 460rpm. I do not know if this is enough in gaming and i would like to edit something like a fan-curve. I tried SmartFan, but there I can only choose a fixed value, too. Do you have any hint for me?

edit: really nice setup cncept! like your tube routing!

Yeah you might have the same noise as me.

Absolutely unacceptable. I want my PC whisper quiet.

Does anyone have an example of what is considered normal for this type of pump? like a video or something.

Kinda regret not getting a d5...
