Compact Splash Brotherhood - Page 83

Anyone doing a red themed build here at all? Just curious as I have heard about white and red and orange

EDIT: I just realized how bad this was said so here we go again:

Is any one doing a red themed build? We got some blue, green, orange, black, white but anyone doing red? There aren't rally any itx boards that are red but I would be interested to see if someone does it. Seeing as how red is such a standard color. I will also have some red MDPC sleeving maybe if anyone wants it for their build tongue.gif(not giving it away though)

I'm thinking of either going green or red.
Was originally going to have a green build, and went with the green power switch.
But then a couple of weeks ago i saw some fittings i really liked, the bitspower carbon black. They have the small red ring.

Then i saw your rig 'Mini Rig That Could!', and fell in love with the red style with the acrylic side.
But i still love the green theme of SLE as well, and i have a green switch in mine.

Im going to wait until most my parts are here and i have my case before i decide between green and red smile.gif

I guess the only way is to wait and see and I'm glad you liked my rig biggrin.gif Its always nice to have your work commented on thumb.gif The nice thing about this too is that the color of the switch isnt permanent so worse case scenario you can just 'switch' it out. I really hope they ship out soon though I am so anxious redface.gif

The acrylic wasn't holding very well. Although it's quite scratch resistant it chipped off easily in a couple of places. So I sanded everything down again and will need to find some better primer.

Damn that sucks :/ Why not just some all in one spray paint? That is what I used and it turned out with no problems.

Damnit kennah tongue.gif

Well I really wanted to work on Splash this weekend but since there is no case I just decided to take apart my little test bench type thing and mount everything and get it ready to go so that when the case arrives I can just put it all in biggrin.gif Even flushed out the rads and pump smile.gif

My Stash:

Bare GTX 670, Card is so small when it is just the PCB and so light :3 :

CPU block installed, GPU block installed, One tube installed biggrin.gif :

Basically what the rig will look like in Splash/For the person/WiSK who was asking about ModDIY cables (Still trying to find time for that review :/ ) :

My current set up, Kinda lags but whatever tongue.gif :
