How Does My Overclocking Settings Look?

post #1 of 4
Thread Starter
Hello fellow enthusiasts,

I have always searched the forum so I finally decided it is time to post/contribute.

So yesterday I finally decided to go to a Tiger Direct retail store to purchase an after stock CPU heat sink (Hyper 212+) so I can play around a little with my 1045T. I have successfully OCd to 3.7Ghz stable. Ran prime95 for about 3 hours last night and my CPU did not go over 48 degrees Celsius which, I'm no expert but, sounds pretty decent to me. Now, I will provide some snapshots of my BIOS, CPU-Z and Core Temp settings to see if the comminity can find any flaws or something I could do better to ensure stability and longevity of my system. Take a look;

A 1Ghz overclock is pretty good (and your load temps are even better). Nice work! smile.gif

i'd raise your nb/cpu freq to x9 or 10. and is your ram intentionally set to 1066? you can bump that up one. also, what is your ht link set to?

Both CPU-NB and HT link at set to [8] (2200mhz)

EDIT: RAM appears to be 1503mhz on BIOS. Heard is not recommended to go over stock speeds.
