Monoprice is delayed til the 20th. Unsure on overlord

Overlord is delayed till mid-April. I did find a 10% off discount code for the Monoprice monitor. The downside is that the glass/clear piece of the stand supposedly is not removable without a lot of dis-assembly, which would void the warranty.

Supposedly there's a 20% off coupon for it for signing up to the newsletter. Just haven't found one that works anymore.

Also the inability to use VESA mount with the stand removed is really turning me away. You'd think a company that bases itself on mounts would do better with mounting systems.

You can remove the base but not the clear part from my understanding. I think the clear part can be removed if it is debezelled temporarily. I do agree it is a big buzz kill, but I don't have any other solid options other than Overlord and the wait is driving me nuts.

Looks like the 27" Monoprice is selling is a rebranded FSM 270-YG korean display.

The 30" multi-input display is a rebranded CROSSOVER 3020MDP.

I'm not sure what brand Monoprice is using for their 30" DVI only display. It has the same pictures as the CROSSOVER 3020MDP but the one image showing the DVI input looks photoshopped.

Update on my order:

Got my unit in 1 day via Norco. I was wrong in doubting them lol. Their tracking number never worked and they didn't send me an email with the picture like I see other people having. They just left it at my front door and didn't even ring the doorbell, but overall I was pretty satisfied esp with $10 overnight on a 27pound monitor.

As for the actual monitor, I have 0 dead/bright pixels which is great. There is quite a bit of black light bleed via the bottom right corner, but it was expected and honestly not a big deal in actual use. I had to pay ~$388 after tax and shipping in CA and am very pleased with my purchase. Got it for around the same price as a Korean seller, but got lucky with no dead pixels + 1 year warranty I can actually believe in
