As title say I am just wondering what the difference is and which one you guys think is better. I know the MCP-655 is very recommended but is the aqua computer d5 a bad pump?

MCP-665 is a D5, the name goes back and forth. So when you're comparing something like an Aquacomputer D5 to a Swiftech D5/MCP-655, the performance is going to be the same. The only thing about the Aqua D5 is the addition of the USB and Aquabus interface.

They are basically identical pump. MCP-655 is also a D5 pump. As far as I know, Aqua computer pumps provides more monitoring / controlling options.
