Tools to overclock a E6400

Thread Starter
what do you use to overclock a E6400 to peak performance? and can someone please explain the whole thing about increasing voltages, etc. as i don't know what that means to the whole overclocking thing...

do you just use the BIOS to overclock the E6400 and if so, is there a guideline of some sorts to overclocking and the pros, cons, and what to watch out for?

So many questions!

You must be new here so please fill out your system specs using the USER CP option (top middle of your page), that will help us to give you the best advice.

In answer to one of your questions, the best way to overclock any cpu is to use the bios options. I'll need to know what motherboard you have though....
