Okay I'm finally getting everything in to be able to start this log. I will say this right up front I am a broke college student so for me to buy things some times it can take me weeks to save up to be able to buy it. So that being said it will be a long extended log that probably will take me over a year to finish it to where I'm happy with it. I welcome any constructive comments and help you are willing to offer. When we start reading down the hardware list no I'm not loaded at all just blessed with what I have, and for everything that I have it was more then likely bought on sale, used, or I saved for weeks. And some parts I had some extreme luck in getting and I would not have without getting them the way they did and for those items I will post the story behind them when I get to those pictures. Now lets get on to the important stuff the hardware lists.

I will try and keep this up to date but I will be making this on three different websites so if I fall behind just haggle me a little for more pics...... Be warned some content of hardware may be XXX rated

Plans: a beastly daily massive overclocked 100% stable monster that will throw down with future cpus and gpus. Oh and alot of water cooling gear

Current Hardware:
case: corsair obsidian 800d
case fans: corsair stock 140mm hdd and psu tunnel, nzxt 11 blade 140mm rear exhaust.
cpu fans: cooler master, sickleflow 120mm blues top intake
rad(s): xspc rs 360mm top intake
cpu block: xspc raystorm ( blue led )
tubing: primochill 1/2 id black
fittings: xspc 1/2 barbs
pump: xspc x2o 750
res: xspc x2o 750
motherboard: asrock extreme 3 gen3 z68 skt 1155
cpu: intel core i5 2500k
memory: 12gb gskill value ram 1333 ( 4gb 2gb 4gb 2gb )
ssd: corsair neutron gtx 120gb (boot/main drive)
hdd: seagate barracuda 7200rpm 500gb (storage drive/clone drive)
hdd: wd mypassport external usb 3.0 500gb (storage)
psu: corsair ax 750 (or tx 850)
gpu: powercolor devil 13 radeon hd 7990
monitor: dell st2410
keyboard: microsoft sidewinder x4
mouse: logitech g400

I think that's everything for the first post pictures to start coming once I find the camera cable so I can upload to photobucket

links to the other sites logs:
http://linustechtips.com/main/forum/the-workbench/build-logs/120016-project-log-vote-on-that

the original plan sketch, the plan will stay as close to the same as possible but modified to fit in an 800d

welp here is where it started with this build. and yes i wound up with a 800d rather than a switch 810

what an 800d looks like lol thumb.gif

ok so its story time woot. yes a little out of order for the pictures but i couldnt resist

here is the 7990 devil 13 i will be using.. this is actually the picture of me with the card. yes this thing is massive! story behind this is there is no way i could ever afford this but about 2 days before the maximum pc contest ended a buddy of mine said hey did you enter this, me i go no i typicality don't i never win anything. but i entered to humor him, so about a month passes by and im sitting down in my floor shaking my case and trying to get this bubble out of my loop, so i get up to grab my screwdriver off my desk and my phone is ringing so i answer it not knowing who it is. its Tom from maximum pc congratulating me of winning. at first i totaly thought fake call but then it hit me i had won. so about 3 weeks later all the paper work done and the card got here and its all mine. The guys out there at maximum pc have been very gracious to me and cant thank them enough for this but thats the story now on to more hardware porn

time to tear it all down and get everything together.

since i had some issues with leaks before a little grabbed me some clamps to use

fans all set up in a push configuration

attempt 1 of where these go lol. they ended up on the bottom tho

i had this nzxt fan from my last case and i liked how much air it moved for the noise level so i tossed it up there as the only exhaust

getting cables ran

hey looky there we got tubes in there now

ah its alive
