OP, upgrade what you have, sell your old hardware.

CPU; 8320/8350
GPU; 7950
SSD; 120/128 GB should be plenty, do not pay over $100 for this size of ssd.
agreed! every seems to have the right idea. this would be your best bet

Sorry for not mentioning all the details and yes I have legacy hdd no ssd yet. Is something I have on my list. Beside that water cooling would be good but someone told me to wait for the new models being introduced by Corsair and some other company.

Since my best friend want to build the exact system if not a bit better for about that price range. What you guys think I can build out of $600? He is for sure building this as a gaming system on a cabinet. biggrin.gif

Start with some good fans first - noctua fans are good! Also 10 fans rolleyes.gif That would be noisy, I only use 4 = 1 cpu - 2 at front - 1 at rear and my computer is a whisper.

And there seems to be this thingy of having your case running at the lowest temp you can get. Why? I still have low temps but I wouldn't worry if it run in the 60 -70 s if it meant being a lot quieter. Don't forget your cpu and gpu can run a lot higher with no probs .

With your setup already, check temps and then start using some logic and work out what fans do you really need, then go from there. Dont replace 10 fans when 5 may do thumb.gif

Then I agree with the rest here - update cpu and gpu biggrin.gif

Nice Thanks man. Now I guess I would have to sell the old stuff localy and see what I can get out of it. I have a feeling that I can't build a similar system for $600 compare to mine. I was looking t AsRock or Gigabyte as my second $600 dollar system. The wife have an APU system that I might consider upgrading her to an FX series. She said to me before. "Why you get to have an 8-core CPU and no I?" lol She was joking but behind every joke there is a little bit of truth.

For $600 new rig, I'd do this

i3 3225 CPU

8GB RAM

7870

SSD

That should add up to about ~$400-500

I thanks for the info, I already have the upgrade part burn to my brain. LOL! biggrin.gif However; you guys are 100%. Maybe I could buy the cpu and pass the one I have to the wife, and get a second motherboard. She has the same ram as me. Then I can worried about cooling the system down better.

What would you guys recommend to use in order to cool the cpu down but have less noise? What unit like an H100?

Right - just looked at your case 2 top 2 bottom 2 side and so on - yes that would be be bloody noisy I guess you got a controller ?

That's a ram air from every direction case ha! Still i would experiment and place the fans still thumb.gif

I never would buy a case with side vent. I like the air being pulled in front and sucked out back .
