It may sound stupid but unless i am overclocking dont you thing the pc is over kill? The pc stays on 24/7, is lound, and the biggest monitor that i have is a led lcd ips 24" monitor. I am not planning on overclocking right now.

Keep the parts you want and sell the rest and put cash towards your upgrades. Cheapest way to go. I've used this method over the past 5 years and have worked my way from a Phenom II 840 to an I7 3770k. The key is not to sell the computer as a whole but part it out and you'll make more $$$.

Seriously, if you want a CPU boost, get a 8350/8320, get the SSD for performance, and find out what is loud and eliminate that. But "upgrading" in $600 budget from the top of the line AMD motherboard and a pretty decent GFX card setup, isn't likely to happen. AMD gfx cards are stupid loud, you might be noticing this, that is why people keep suggesting water, it will keep your system cooler, and with far less noise. But without selling stuff you don't have any budget for upgrading.

I would advise you figure out where you want to go financially, because your system is already 4/5 top of the line as far as AMD goes.

Thank you my friend you laid it out 100% perfectly. I will do that instead and work on upgrading those areas better. biggrin.gif

Nearly any modern decent build will run "good", but overclocking is all about getting the most out of your system. smile.gif
