Case Cooling fns

Hello, I think I am in the right category for this but here is my question.

Can anyone name any 120mm fans that Have high CFM, High Static pressure and, stay at an acceptable noise level (exclude Deltas).

Also I would prefer people that have had real world experience with the fans that they are naming because the fans don't always perform like they do on paper thumb.gif

I've only really had experience with a few case fans:

Corsair AF120/140 Quiet Editions - Quiet but don't move an awful lot of air

Akasa Apache Black 120mm - These are the fans I'm currently using and they are the best fans I've ever used, they are very quiet at full speed and move a lot of air. They also have high static pressure meaning they're great for radiators. Not to mention they're PWM controlled as well.

Be Quiet Silent Wings 120mm/140mm - These are very very quiet fans and move a decent amount of air, they literally make no noise at all so if you want a quiet rig go with these.

Noctua NF-F12 - Not specifically a case fan, more focused towards heatsinks. These are very good too but a bit pricey and the colour isn't to everyone's taste.

I haven't owned them but they are very highly regarded, they're recommended quite often.

I own them and they are relatively quiet at RPM lower than 1200, i run them push pull and they are <19db at max

Though, i recently switched to these fans and found them a lot quieter; also in push pull. Thankfully these Gelid's are PWM.

Other good options:

-Prolimatech Blue Vortex. Good allround fan with a very nice balance of airflow, pressure and low noise.

-Noiseblocker Blacksilent Pro or Multiframe. Same blades, bearing and motor, but the multiframe has a nice self-dampening frame. They are widely regarded as some of the best fans on the market.

-Scythe/Nidec Gentle Typhoons. These are more heatsink oriented, with higher static pressure. But they work quite well in most applications. Very high quality fans which last pretty much forever because of their high-end bearings and motor.

-Enermax Cluster or T.B. Silence. Good bearings, with the Cluster running at higher speeds and the Silence being quieter at stock speeds.

for case fans use what you need to see is airflow quantity of CFM,more pushes more air, more static pressure is better for heatsinks/rads

and reviews on fans show the real performance of FANs

Cooler Master Sickleflow/ Silverstone FM121/Silverstone Air Penetrator /COUGAR CF-V12H/Xigmatek XAF-F1255/ SilenX IXP-76-18/ bgears b-Blaster 120 120mm Case Fan
