Logitech g700 click and hold problems

So I've had this logitech g700 mouse for about 6 months now and it already seems like it is dying already. When I click and hold it will frequently stop "holding" and then my mouse click point is somewhere else. This is especially problematic for BF3, since I have my iron sights on the left click (yes I know, I reversed sights and fire) my player will pop out of sights mode then pop back in, but this momentary lapse is enough to get my killed. I have done the remove battery and drain capacitors thing, but it didn't work. Any other suggestions before I call logitech for an RMA?

This sounds like a microswitch failure issue. You can take it apart and void your warranty and do some surgery to temporarily fix it, or you can call Support and discuss getting an RMA.

I would recommend calling Support.

Thanks for the info, I guess I'll call logitech in the morning. I was hoping there would be someone who knew an easier fix but whatever, it is what it is. I have yet to find a good mouse that will last me for more than a year, maybe the new naga that I just bought will...
