Low 7950 3DMark11 Score?

Thread Starter
Hey, I just got a Sapphire 7950 (newer L3 version) and ran 3DMark11 and my scores are:
P6366
Graphics: 6481
Physics: 6203
Combined: 5822

It seems like from reviews I should be getting 7100+

My computer:
i7-860
Asus P7P55D
8GB G.Skill DDR3
Samsung 830 256GB
Sapphire 7950

Do my scores seem low?

Which driver version are you running? And which reviews have you read? You know, it could be that the test system in the review has a better/overclocked CPU or an overclocked 7950.

13.2 Beta7. That could be, but even 3DMark11's similar systems comparison show most are above 7000 :\

Oc'd i7-860 a little to 3.1Ghz and downloaded Catalyst 13.1. 3DMARK11 score P6529... still seems low

Did you have a card before that? AMD or Nvidia? How did you install the drivers?

+20 on the power control setting should fix you. CCC > Performance > AMD Overdrive. thumb.gif

Is this common to do?

An AMD 5770 along with an Intel X25-M. The 7950 was installed on a brand new Samsung 830

Lol agree.

I OC'd it just a tad more to 3.4Ghz and got:
P7190
Graphics: 7214
Physics: 7338
Combined: 6818

I guess these are normal then huh?

Makes me want to upgrade...I should probably wait for Haswell i5-4670 in Q2-Q3...

For OCing the 860... is it better to have a high multiplier and low bus speed or low multiplier and high bus speed? I can get the same OC both ways
