A8N SLI Premium won't boot.

Thread Starter
So,

I just today received this bord for my brothers build and started working on it.
I connected all the parts and put in the case.
The power on:
-light go's green

PC power button on:
-fans start working but no beep.

Nothing happens so I put in the monitor cable in:
And happen to see absolutely nothing.

So I tried all of the parts in my own system and they all work. Is my mobo broken? (Not again I hope )

Anybody got ideas??

~AMD-rules.

Its prolly your ram if there are no beeps at all.

mine did the same thing when I got it when I put my ram in certain ways. So try and stick ram in different slots or only stick one stick in...But if its powering on, and everything is running but it aint booting that may help...

Also, reset your CMOS

Good luck!

Thanks for replying. Tried those. Resetted the BIOS by taking out the battery and placing it back again, als tried different RAM slots. Neither one helped

Ummm...Did you also move the jumper before taking out the battery?? (just makin sure ) and try one stick of ram in all four slots. Its gonna suck if that Mobo is bad because that could be the problem If there are no beeps and nothing then *shrug*

Also, have you tried using old GPU's or processors or power suplies with it? As you could find which part is faulty if you had the extra parts, I know I didn't use to when I built the PC you see below

That happened to me once, and the processor was shot, but if you said that works in your system, then it must be the board.

I had that happen...but the computer doesn't actually fully start running. All the fans just twitch and everything turns on four half a second....so I don't think its that but...it just might be

EDIT: BTW, Dotcom...Awesome avatar Lol...I just caught myself staring at it lmao

UNplug the psu, remove the battery, switch the jumper, leave it for ten minutes then reverse it that should properly reset the bios
