Budget gaming laptop

Thread Starter
I am looking for a laptop on a budget of around $900, but i can go up to $1000. The size i like is 15.6"
The laptops that i have found are:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834312438

http://www.sagernotebook.com/index.php?page=product_info&model_name=NP6165
I like the first laptop because of the SLI but it has a slow hard drive and no dvd player.
The second one has an dvd player and faster hard drive.
Can anyone help me?

Go for it, it's much better in terms of raw power since a GTX 660M is essentially a GT 650M with that's been clocked a little higher than a GT 650M and re branded with the GTX name.

Yes, SLI GT 650m run in GTX 670MX-GTX 675M territory.

Also, I know you said your max budget is $1000, but if you can find another $50 you can get that Lenovo with a i7 3630QM. ...which will help you get the maximum from SLI.

Lenovo Y500 for $799

You can buy a second GT650M card later for 125-150$

It's your best buy really.

I suggest you buy the Lenovo Y500 directly from Lenovo itself from their website lenovoshop.
