i5 2500k - strange test results

Thread Starter
I've run occt test for my 4,4GHz cpu @ 1,285V. After 2h of running I got the core error and the test stopped - does this mean that the voltage isnt stable?

The strange thing is that when I changed voltage upto 1,29V, I got the same error after a minute or two.

Same when I changed it to 1,295V.

I didnt try 1,3V. Im running the same test with 1,295V now, after a couple of hours with the computer turned off.

What does it all mean?

Lets say you have a unstable Overclock, Sometimes it can be found after 15minutes of testing, Sometimes it could need 2 hours for the error to come up.

Just up the voltage to your atleast 6-12hours error free in Prime 95
