because of the sensitivity of the data and being on a home network,i would use two network cards and not have NETWORK B talking at all to the internet and when your not using it NETWORK B unplug.

Something that isn't connect is to a network is the hardest thing to hack.

Also get firewall program that would monitor NETWORK B.
Learn how to use IPSEC and TCP/IP filtering in XP.

And delete your post about the info you gave, that was too much. Should of said a computer with sensitive data on it.
