is your cpu overclocked?

I play crysis3 with a single 690 and it plays it flawlessly, all settings max with fxaa

you have a fresh install so that's good, are you using the latest driver?

No, but it was oc'ed to 5G a little time ago but i took it down to stock... I got the latest drivers.

I would try overclocking your cpu, at least to 4.5, 4.6 then see if the problem persists

what I was saying or my point in in relation to this, and your overclocking the CPU.
to sum it up, the stronger the CPU (good CPU with overclock) the less of an experience you will have with micro-stuttering..
