Overclocking a GTX 460 with M5A78LM_LX_V2

Thread Starter
Ok, so I own the not very well respected mobo ASUS M5A78LM_LX_V2, and I've just acquired a GTX460 GS-GLH, which I'm considering overclocking, depending on what you guys say.

I already have an OC'ed AMD FX8120 at 4.3GhZ with a Vcore of 1.3v

The current Clock on the GTX 460(GF104) is 800Mhz, and the timing is 666Mhz GPU the GPU core voltage is 0.95v idling at about 49C load at around 70C

Have that exact same card and I'm going to warn you: My card overvolts from 1000 mV in Afterburner to between 1125-1132 mV measured on a multimeter. Which explains the extreme temperaturester. Which explains the extreme temperatures. I would recommend you to rip the shroud and old fan of and mount a larger fan on it.
