Sandy 2550k o/c without more VCore

Hi all,

Just wondering how fast I could get a 2550k running with stock VCore only playing with the multiplier. Any idea?

I would think 4.1(realistic)-4.3(if you are lucky) Ghz leaving the Vcore on auto.

Thx for those numbers!

I guess a 2550k deserves more than that, will better find a mobo that lets me overvolt it!
How fast should I expect getting from it with a proper cooler? 5GHz?

If you overvolt it and have a decent cooler you should expect around 4.7-4.8ghz if you keep it around 1.4v. 5ghz is a possibility although I believe only about 10% of chips will do 5ghz, at least at a reasonable voltage less than 1.5v.

It all depends on your chip though. My 2500k maxes out at 4.5ghz with 1.4v but others can do 5ghz @ 1.4v.
