Are such temperature differences normal?

Fantastic, actually. But what are your load temps? Those are the important ones. And what voltage and clock are you running?

looks fine to me here is a screen shot of mine for reference

They are normal, especially at idle where the sensors are not very accurate. Check the load temps and see how the difference is - but it's still normal to have a split, sometimes up to 10C, even at load.

Thank you for the replies! This is what my temps looks like while using IntelBurn:



I ran it for the whole time, but my temperatures weren't different from this range throughout the the whole test.

Looks good to me. 80 C is close to where I would draw the line for my system in terms of load temp to be safe. If you are ever thinking of getting an H2O cooler you can easily run that processor at 4.3-5.0GHz at the same temps. It just varies from unit to unit.

if you actually do your prime95 24 hour run expect to see almost 90c because you have only one test of IBT on max it usually won't get to max temp till about the 10th test.
