Well Laing pumps are out (DDC / D5) - the impeller is made out of Noryl which does not play nice with Acetone (Rated D - Severe effect all temperatures).

To be honest most plastics are not going to like such cold temperatures (-80°C) unless you go to some of the more exotic materials, so even finding tubing to handle acetone at those temperatures is going to be a challenge (probably easier to hard pipe with copper).

If you can find an all metal (copper, brass, bronze, iron and aluminium are all good) pump with PTFE gaskets then you might be good, but you are getting into more expensive equipment here.

Best thing to do is to get a phase change unit / butchered AC unit and make a water chiller.

Edit: You can use PTFE tubing with acetone down to -200°C, so that is the tubing sorted. You can find it for ~$7-10/foot, but you will need to look round for a place that will sell small quantities.

Central heating pumps are often brass / iron construction.

You would need to replace all your o-rings in the loop with PTFE thought, the acetone might eat them.

Also remove all plastic parts - even though acetone is fine with Acetal the low temperatures are still a problem.

Edit 2: DO NOT search for "brass pumps" on e-bay when at work.

Haha I realize that. I was just wondering. I thought that water cooling was good enough. But I have now been informed otherwise! Thank you
