I wanna try out intel as i have never ever had intel. I need some advice on what to get!

Anything but a 3570k because that would really be much of an upgrade i feel.

Well, you have $850 to spend on a motherboard and processor. That points straight at the i7-3930K and a good X79 motherboard such as ASUS Sabertooth X79 devil.gif

The hype is, if you are just starting with a system go with an Intel. If you already went with an 8350, at about 4.8-5GHz there really isn't too much difference (of course the numbers will always be in favor of Intel, but noticeably by the eye probably not too bad). Of course statistically, benchmark wise, the numbers will favor Intel, but that doesn't mean if you already have a 990FX board you should make the switch.

Even if you went with an X79 Chipset, in Gaming situations I doubt you will see that much difference.
