SeaSonic SS-660XP and BitFenix Prodigy?

Has anyone tried this, how well does this thing fit inside the case? Also, if you do have it, do you notice any coil whine (I find instances of that to be extremely annoying and distracting)?

From what I hear, these PSUs run very cool and the cooler the better in a SFF machine

it states normal atx power supply so it should fit and with the various power supplies i seen used in that case i think should fit but will hang out a bit, they suggest something around 150 mm long but the 660 is 160 mm long

on the coil whine its a crap shoot mostly you lucky or not but the only real altenative in the platinium class is super flower sourced units like the rosewill tachyon.kingwin platinium series

Well that's too bad, if it is 160mm deep then it would be too long with the modular cabling. I guess I do have to settle for the ax750 that I was going to initially put in, oh well.

Really? The Prodigy can't house a modular 160mm PSU? That case is practically the size of a mid tower wth.gif

I got my Plat 660 into my Node 304 no problem.

I just realized that the PSU that I wanted initially is also a 160mm modular psu and I've seen that fit into a prodigy, it just was a bit tricky, so maybe it is possible.
