Also the case seems like a really generic, badly built one...

Just go for what was suggested above! really good systems just for your price.
Here's the one i like most with updated PSU

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor (£99.98 @ Aria PC)
Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard (£66.30 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£53.26 @ Ebuyer)
Video Card: Club 3D Radeon HD 7870 XT 2GB Video Card (£171.62 @ Amazon UK)
Case: NZXT Source 210 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case (£31.18 @ Scan.co.uk)
Power Supply: Corsair CX500 (£45.74 @ AriaPC)

Total: 468,06£

lads,
It seems like the PC owner is more interested in these case. (I don't want simple/ plain case. He said) Check it out. Are they good or bad, move, or if you could suggest gaming one?
And please make sure it will be compatible with the psu, Mboard, graphics card.

They might not be as well built as the nzxt one but they'll do their job especially for the price. I would recommend rosewill cases. I have first hand experience of the Blackhawk. The fans are incredible for the price on it.

Then this case should be fine (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Cases/Midi+Tower/ARIAnet+StealthX+Black+Midi+Tower+Gaming+Case+?productId=47034)

But will it be compatible with this pc?

^^ Agreed, don't let style get in the way of airflow and solid case design. Last thing you want is your case breaking in half, all the parts in it going with it.

Ok, we...stick to the suggested case. I guess the funs are gonna be enough. But how can a pc be affected by poor quality design/ build case?

Well bad airflow will affect overclock performance, and bad quality will mean that stuff will break off while your building it.

I have seen so many different types of the hd 7870, some are expensive than others. Some ends with hd 7870 XT others don't. Others uses 3 funs instead of 2 or 1. I want to know the differences.
