Best Case For SLI + Air-cooling

Thread Starter
Looking for a case for SLI & aircooling ot start with ( looking at going water cooling in a year or two )

What cases are the best? Amongst full tower & mid tower?

I was looking at the 800d, but as it's quite old I Wasn't sure whether a case like that is still relevant today.

Thanks guys

I had pretty good luck with my Corsair 500r when I replaced the side fan.

I'll vote for my own case - Silverstone Raven RV02-EW. If you don't like the style and are okay with spending a bit more money, the Silverstone Fortress FT02.

The 90 degree rotated motherboard does wonders for the video card and processor temps - the heat from each component rises up out of the case, rather than up to the next component in line.

One thing to note though - you're much better off with video cards that blow their exhaust out of the 'back' of the card with these cases - that way there's no competing airflows inside the case.
