I'm going to be using a newegg preferred account to pay for it over, so sadly I can't use amazon. And I have a shoprunner trial with free 2 day shipping.

Did the same, shoprunner trial ftw. Just cancel it because it costs like $80 if you don't.

I would go with Gigabyte windforce 7950 very nice card just bought one myself very cool quite came with FX0 bios version 2 card 1000mhz core and 1250mhz memory @ 1.25v. VOLTAGE LOCKED Hardware but I have my OC at 1150mhz core and 1500mhz memory.

It is on a reference 7970 PCB with 1 6pin and 1 8pin maxed out on bf3 on 1080p I was hitting avg 80fps and as high as 120fps never saw anything lower then 70fps.

I never been a fan of gigabyte products but this is a winner in price vs performance. I can send you some benchmarks of vantage if you would like.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125414 Only $299.99 and you get 2 free games right now. I truly believe this card is the best bang for the buck.

I got the 2l about 2 weeks ago. I have it at 1200/1725 with1.25v with no problems. 59-61. 55-65Fps in crysis 3 on very high setting. This is on air with stockcooler. I got it for 269 and it came with crysis 3 and bioshock infinite. Win-win.

I was about to cancel it, and they then offered me 90 days more for free!

@Highendpcgamer - I was originally looking at the gigabyte 7950 but I wasn't too pleased to hear the newer versions they're shipping are voltage locked.

It maybe voltage locked but @ 1.25v already for a 7950 is well over volted and can definitely O.C. above 1000-1250 stock like I said mine is running 1150-1500.

This thing also pushes my eyefinity setup well 3 21" LCD's 5760x1080 on battlefield 3 maxed out setting 40-50fps avg peaking at 70-75fps

The card runs cool, temps no higher then 65c and fan runs about 50-60% still very quite.

The stock cooler covers the GPU and the memory direct contact. VRM's with there own heatsink and is being cooled by one of the 3 fans.

Also you are getting a Stock 7970 PCB which means support for full cover waterblock.

If that isn't enough to prove this card is worth it. IDK what will convince you lol. If you want when I get home I can provide benchmarks and real pics of the card let me know.

Thanks for everything, I was actually about to order it. I'm using the newegg preferred account where you have 6 months to pay off orders over $250 and 12 months to pay off orders over $500. My order in total was $460ish so I decided to get the Sapphire 7950 Vapor X to make the order $500.

Nice, that's not a bad card, just sapphire customer service sucks and RMA's take forever.

When you get it in your system I wouldn't mind comparing benchmarks.
