Asus P9X79 Deluxe or Asrock x79 Extreme9

Based on my budget and the boards that are available here i have narrowed it down to this:
Asus P9X79 Deluxe(322 euros) or Asrock x79 extreme 9(336 euros)

I've been leaning towards asrock but there's two things that put me off.First the dual 8 pin cpu connectors. This is an issue because untill i get a second gtx 680 this system will run on old quality silverstone 650w psu with only one 8pin connector. Then there's the x79 chipset cooler.I know these small fans are noisy and notorious for failing and being hard to replace. This is an issue for me because i want to keep this board for at least 4-5 years. Also the warranty is only two years versus 3 on the asus boards.

As for the asus boards what puts me off is the terrible experience i've had with them in the past.Specifically i've received two DOA P6Ts and a third one that died a few months later. The fourth one had two bent pins and the store wouldn't rma it claiming it was my fault.(it wasn't)After that i promised myself not to buy from this store again and never buy another asus board.

I would really like to hear some opinions about these boards. For example witch one oces best?

I'm very happy with my Rampage IV Extreme and a friend of mine is happy with his P9X79 Pro. I've never had an Asrock yet so I can't comment on their quality.

Well the Rampage IV Extreme at 441 euros is simply way too expensive for me....
