help core 2 duo to core 2 quad

Thread Starter
Hi everyone. I've upgraded my notebook from core 2 duo to core 2 quad. The notebook starts well but when the win7 logo appears the pc reboots... I've tryed to clear CMOS and to update the BIOS but the result is the same. Perhaps the problem is the ram and the bus multiple.. but I dont know how to change this value. I ve unlocked bios but the settings refer only about voltage not frequency. Helpp.

As far as I can tell by looking here, the Q9100 is unsupported by the K61IC., as any other quad core cpu for that matter.

From it's spaces it doesn't look good. No official support for Q9100. So I guess you are at your own.
