I never stated that the majority vote would consist solely of peer pressure based votes, neither was that my implication. Only that it is quite inevitable, considering peoples mindsets nowadays, that a percentage of downvotes can be of ill favour rather than fact. A lot of people who downvoted the game in the past were simply angry because it "isn't Resident Evil". This was pretty apparent on xbox.com when the game released.
The reality, regardless of what you think about it, is that I don't really care about the reviews of others so much to be quite honest with you, as previously stated. I've played it and I think it's a decent game regardless of what the "majority" vote may be and will put forth my opinion about it, and rightly so. If I was the sort of person to be swayed by "majority vote" I'd have never bought Golden Axe: Beastrider and actually found it to be a more enjoyable game than the terrible game it was slated to be.
Reviews, votes, etc are nothing more than personal opinions. We as human beings have our own minds and our more than capable of forming our own. One mans poison is another mans medicine.
