TrackIR support please. If Arma can do it, BF4 can too! Or not, I'm not incredibly hopeful for this. frown.gif

Oh and $5 DLC for a microfiber goggles cleaning cloth. rolleyes.gif

No effective squad play, no commander, smaller maps than BF2, WAY less emphasis on team play, worse unlock system, VEHICLE health regen (seriously, WHY?!), player HP regen, WAY bigger HP pool, etc. Just takes way less skill to play than BF2. The series is dead to me, unless they magically re-make BF2142 in an ACCURATE method - i.e. none of the casual gameplay junk.

This. despite better judgment, I let myself get hyped up for BF3 knowing that EA most likely would drop the ball. Played the base game for a while. Got sick of the rampant hacking bugs hit reg etc. glad I never spent anymore money on the dlc. Amazed how the next installment of a particular series can have less freedom no mod tools no voip squad play etc. and then be advertised as the next big thing. Oh well, I'm sure people will still throw their money at this and then cry about it being a port as always.

After some thought I am glad there is no VOIP. Seeing that most players have an IQ of an ape on the battlefield I am glad I do not have shout "revive me" or "drop some #@@$ ammo".

Can't wait to see how EA butchers this games launch.

Know what I love about the PC crowd? They are absolutely never happy. Always find fault with something. As someone who started the series with bf1942 up till and still plays bf3, it's a very fun game. Not perfect, but definitely doesn't deserve all the hate it gets. I think if EA wasn't associated with it, the hate wouldn't be nearly as strong even if it was identical.

Looking forward to BF4 thumb.gif

I've gotten more than my monies worth with BF3 even with the lack of VOIP. As long as BF4 doesn't ruin anything and has VOIP it'll be a definite buy for me.
