I need help the 3 pin connectors in my Storm Trooper

I have no idea how to plug these suckers in. Do they need a 3 pin plug coming from the PSU or something? Is there a guide on how to hook them up?

For the record, I'm talking about the connections for the two front fans.

Currently I have my two old Molex fans hooked up, one of which is hanging on by a thread tongue.gif

just look in the manual when the fan headers are and connect them to that. keep in mind those are 4 pin so you connect pins 1-3.

here is an image with all, including cpu, fan headers are.

I don't think meant that.

He/she meant the ones coming from the case I/O panel.

The FOUR three pin connectors correct?

If so those are to be connected to the four stock fans directly so they get powered AND that the fan controller on the I/O panel will work.

Unless you don't want to use the fan controller on the case, then the stock fans get connected either on the mobo, molex plugs on the PSU or your own fan controller.

The problem is that the stock fans don't have molex connectors. Do the 3 plug straight into the motherboard?

The fan 3 pin plug plugs into the 3 pin case connectors (the X 4) and not the mobo fan headers.

I wouldn't know that because I'm also getting this case and will have it sometime next week but the case fans have 3 pin plugs, the case itself from the top I/O panel has FOUR 3 pin connectors like the first photo above so the case fan 3 pin plugs (which come with 4 fans) plugs into those FOUR 3 pin connectors coming from the case again (the top photo above).

See the top panel powers the fans as well as you can control the speed of them (as the top I/O panel has a fan controller) by plugging it in this way.  Now the front 120mm led fans also have a two pin plug to plug into two of the led connector plug like in the second photo as the top panel has a switch to either turn the leds "ON" or "OFF".  As you see the last photo that 4 pin molex powers where all those plugs in the first two photos.  Hope I didn't confuse you.smile.gif

The third photo description explains that.

Yep it's a nice computer case in functionality and the great rest of it with plenty of spaghetti (wires/cables) lol! tongue.gif

Hope you get them fans connected well and enjoy your case.smile.gif
