Biggest case with sleek form factor - Page 2

Since I'm definitely gonna be watercooling, I was actually about to order the STH10.

Then when checking out pricing I realized even radiator mounts aren't included.

I'm sorry if I sound cheap (at a 600$ case haha), but isn't that a little ridiculous??? In order to actually use the case with any amount of fan or radiators, the price of the case increases by 200$!

I finally rationalized spending close to 600 on the case, but don't think I can justify close to 800. Before shipping.

Looks like 900D it is, unless something else comes in during that time period.

It's the opposite of ridiculous. Man, I seriously don't think you understand why these cases exist & therefore I think you made the right decision in the 900d ( excellent case in it's own right ). They are completely aluminum, modular, water cooling cases. One of their greatest strengths is the ability to be modular, and you can set up mounts & brackets wherever you like, drop in rad mounts, screw in a new top, change out fan mounts etc.. the whole point of this case is that.

Case-labs cases owners tend to see their cases as an INVESTMENT into future builds more than anything, and when a case lasts you 10+ years, the cost is much easier to accept. You pay the money for these cases because of the quality, the powder coated finish, the customised orders.. etc.. the time & effort that goes into it. Where corsair can make 50 900 d's and they send them all out the same. In the future if you decide you want to radically alter your setup, and the 900d is no longer in production, case-labs will still be making custom panels you can use, or new motherboard tray's to keep up with changes. The STH10 is not case-labs cheapest case either man!

Anyway, glad you are happy with your decision and good luck. It would be interesting to know what your planned setup is man! thumb.gifthumb.gifthumb.gif

It looks to be a great case for the price but from reading the forums its going to be scares for a bit when you get it I hope you put a build log up to see how it turns out:D

Do what I did, grab a CaseLabs ST10-X. It comes with all the radiator mounting stuff you need and its under $500.00. I'd spend the $15 on the larger side panel though. (Actually it comes with it). Also, get some casters, you may not think you will be needing them, but if you plan to water cool you will be happy you did. I had pre-ordered a Corsair 900D and after all the delays I gave up and I have 0 complaints. When my case came the "extreme" top had gotten damaged in shipping though which was a huge bummer. I emailed Jim and was pretty much like hey take a look at what happened, not lets fix it just more of an fyi and I wanted to see how he handled / responded to it and 2 days later Fed-Ex had a replacement at my door. You can not go wrong with the quailty or customer service offered by CaseLabs. The only down side is I don't think I'd be happy with any other case brand now and these suckers are $500+ a pop.

Edit: Any of their -X cases will include most of the accessories you will need.

Wow that's a beautiful build!

Thanks for that info.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if most of the new high end motherboards coming out are standard ATX, or I should be getting a case with HPTX (STH10) which would take anything thrown in it?
