as the title says

i was wondering if you could use a ax1200 cable kit on a ax760 psu

ive been looking at the pictures and the kits look like they are missing 3 cables

in the picture of the psu theres 12 cables and in the picture of the ax760 860 cable kit there are only 9 cables

any advice, tips or help would be awesome

thanks

maybe your PSU has less connectors then the 1200w? I mean its almost double the power so it should have more cables.

Just guessing but maybe it's because they're 2 different power supplies or might have something to do with the fact the the AX1200 is a bit more powerful and can therefore handle double the PCI-E connections.

I would look at the oem pin side of the psu for both models to see if it has the same plug type first, the ax series are rebranded seasonics for the most part but the new I series does have a split plug, I am not sure if its compatible though.

The Corsair AX760 is a rebranded Seasonic SS-760XP2 which is also platinum.
