(Solved) Need to find a newer BIOS for Asrock 890FX Deluxe5 BIOS currant ver. 2.0

Power Color 7870 myst, and Code 97 on debug......
Wasn't sure if this belonged under the AMD Main board section, ATI section, or here. But I think a new BIOS should fix this.

So I just installed my new card, and now it wont boot. Code 97 which are "Problem related to PCI-E devices."
Power Color says I need a Bios newer than Oct. 2012. This is a problem, the newest offered on ASRock's website is 2.0 and it came out 6/13/2012.
I have put through a request to Asrock, but I not expecting any help from them.
If any one can help, I'm all Googled out.

So here are my system specs:
Asrock 890fx deluxe 5 bios 2.0
Power Color 7870 pcs+ Myst edition
Rosewill Stallion 600w (well within requirements)
AMD 8350 (Stock clocks)
Samsung ram (running at stock)

Second Response from Asrock

I tested MSI HD7870 VGA card that support UEFI GOP with 890FX Deluxe5 BIOS L2.01F and system boot up normally.

Please kindly update the latest beta BIOS L2.01F from below link to try.

No but I'm about to. Didn't think it would help based on the description. Worth a try, I'll update after the attempt later this week no time today, got home too late.

.

Have you doubled checked the 2 6-pin power connects on the graphics card, are they well seated?

You might try clearing the bios.
Unplug the power supply cable to the computer and use the CMOS reset for 30 seconds to make sure the BIOS is cleared.
The CMOS reset is right next to the CMOS battery.
After booting, you then have to go thru every BIOS setting to make sure everything is correct.
Then try installing the new 7870.

How would Power Color know what you need to update the Asus BIOS to fix the problem?
They might have been making a wild guess, so as to blame Asus for their card not working in your system.
