haha thats strange. Are you coming from MX518?
Remind me of my Zowie Gear EC1 [BLACK] which was very easy to press too (omoron based)

So is there a chance I get one that is harder to click if I send it in for replacement? Or should I not bother with that route?

As I said. This is normal behavior for a right hand designed mouse. I doubt the switch is faulty.

OF on the switch itself can variate as well.

the switch was faulty, i had that same issue on multiple EC2's that i had ordered until it finally got right. seems like bad quality control, but when it is finally right it is very nice.
