To answer the OP's question , single card =7970 , SLI setup=680 , although they are really close in performance just get whichever is cheaper thumb.gif

My testing, the 7970 is a power house and the drivers keep getting better. I use nvidia though as my AMD driver experience has always been bad but lots of people have no problems at all..

Well first thanks for all your help on the matter I knew I was right thumb.gif , also a lot of people think I'm asking because I want help finding the right card but that is not the case. When I do upgrade I well be going AMD thought because they just seem like the better option to me. < dont start a flame war with that like i said "better option to me"
