HAF 912 Swiftech H220 compatibility?

Hello,

I see there is a large amount of HAF owners here on overclock.net. Therefore, I decided to check and see if anyone has attempted to put a Swiftech H220 in a HAF912 case or a similar case? I asked over on the Swiftech forum and spoke to Brian. He said Swiftech does not have that case so they are not sure if it will have enough clearance for a top mount. Even if it would fit at the top I'm not sure how the heck I would reroute the power connector for SLI/CFX on the ASRock Extreme 6 z77 board. I ran it up the back of the case, and through the hole at the top. I think I also have another cable running that way. Anyways if anyone has accomplished this could you please tell me how you did it or post some pictures? Is there any way I can just mount it externally or some other location in the case? Also, any tips on where I could put a 3x120 rad for water cooling CFX 7970's would be helpful. I know people have modded this case to accept up to three rads so there has to be a way to accomplish this. As I have mentioned it doesn't matter to me if the rads need to be externally mounted. This will be my first time getting wet so a recommendation on external mounts would be great if we have to go that route. Thanks a lot for reading, and I appreciate your time.

Does anyone know if this will work? Please I would like to order the H220, but I don't know if it will fit. I also need to find a way to install either a 3x120 or a 4x120 rad for my video cards which are 7970's. Could someone please help me?

H100 is kinda difficult to fit in, but I assume you could fit it on top or inside with fans on top with a little modding. As far as stock, I'm not sure if it fits. You're probably going to run into issues when trying to mount both the fans and rad inside.

I wonder how thick the H220 is compared to the H100? With and without the fans. When I purchased the HAF 912 I was planning to remove metal SSD/HHD mounting bracket and install a rad there. Then, I could just use the mounting cage that attaches beneath where you would install optical drives. That should give me enough room to install the H220 rad and fans down at the bottom of the case if worse came to worse. Then, I could just mount a 3x120 or a 4x120 rad from the back of the case for the video cards. I have never water cooled a PC before. This will be my first time. Therefore, I don't know if this is even possible. That is why I am asking for help.

*Update* I just contacted Cooler Master. They said the Swiftech H220 will not work with the HAF 912. However, when I look at the pictures of the HAF 912 on Newegg. It shows an externally mounted 2x120 rad with fans. Shouldn't I be able to just do that instead of an internal mount? Would I still be able to mount a 3x10 or 4x120 rad for the video cards from the back?
