I'm now looking for the best gaming laptop on the market, my budget is $2500 (including postage) to australia.. at the moment this is the best I can find, just curious to see what else others can find

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MSI-GT70-0NE-452US-17-3-i7-3630QM-GTX-680M-4GB-FullHD-W8-Gaming-Laptop-/281064403034?pt=Laptops_Nov05&hash=item4170be705a

The only problem at the moment is we need to get financing, now newegg and amazon only offer to america/selective products.. we've been looking into getting an interest free credit card, but would much prefer to do a finance

the mx18 worth $2500 and the msi g70 452 worth $2500 are both selling for $3600 in australia... -.- so we're thinking of getting a credit card and buying either from American ebay.. but would much prefer to find an american website that finance to aus lol

I would stay away from Alienware simply because the prices are way to much and the style is to over the top for my taste. I just ordered a Sager 9150 from Xoticpc for 1299.00 with no tax and free shipping.

Here are the specs:
3rd Generation Intel® Core i7-3630QM
16 GB 1600 MHz memory
Nvidia GTX 670 MX
750 GB 7200 RPM Mechanical drive
mSATA support
Bigfoots Networks Killer 3 x 3
Illuminated Keyboard
15.6 Glossy 1920 x 1080 Display
System is upgradeable and the GPU and the CPU have independent cooling fans

I know you are looking for financing but you will pay much more for the laptop than it is worth in the long run. Check out Xoticpc and take a look at the systems they offer. There are alternative ways to finance if that is your only option. I do not finance anything except my house. I looked at every manufacturer of laptops for 3 weeks and settled on the best system I could find for under 1300 dollars. The Sager 9150 did just that. Good Luck.

How can you call Alienware overpriced and say that the MSI is not?

If you don't mind its styling (which I think is much better than MSI's), you can get an m17x for more than 30% off. I bought one with Dell's overpriced extended warranty for less than a Clevo with the same specifications.

Almost the same specs as Hellzhavoc's.

there is so many 0% interest for 12-48 months deals out there you could literally get whatever you want.

you don't pay a dime more with 0% interest as long as it's payed off before promotion ends. Nothing wrong with financing a laptop. Maybe she needs help building credit or maintaining credit? it's a viable option to work on credit and get a laptop out of it.

Everyone has specific needs, it may be financing, affordability, or performance. I am not saying my opinion should be followed, I am just making suggestions. We all have our opinions and we should follow what we feel is best.

That would broaden your options alot more. Just pay the interest + some more.
we're actually looking into getting a credit card that'll offer 9 months interest free atm, basicially we want to spend $2500 (including postage) and this is the best I can find right now.. (we live in aus)
