Something to note is that these events occur less with 500hz rather than 1000hz. My DA does not do this on any of these pads.

Weird, my Savu performs good on all pads, it only skipped on extremely high speed direction changes (swipe right and immediately left again) or very fast swipes. When I recognized that I tested my DAs and they did the same, albeit at a bit higher speeds.

Not to be misunderstood, you are right, performance is surface dependent with the Savu, but I have zero troubles while using it on the NP+.

It depends what revision you get.

One G400 uses the Avago 3090
The other uses the Avago 3080E

One revision of one G400 is completely raw 1:1:

No prediction
No acceleration
No jitter
And I assume optical quality tracking.

So, It's good if that's what you're looking for.

The latest G400 has the 3095 sensor with its angle snapping removed.

There seems to be a misunderstanding.

-Extremely early G400's were equipped with 3080E, but were capable of 3600 CPI resolution. I assume these merely loaded S3095 SROM.
-After that, they were shipped with "S3095" branding, but shared the same capabilities as above. (Still has angle snapping)
-Moving forward, Chris Pate had confirmed that newer G400's after a certain PID had the angle snapping algorithm removed. (Same S3095 branding)

These mice were always 1:1 response ratio.

My personal favorite mouse from a cursor precision aspect is currently the Roccat Savu @ 800 DPI/1000hz.. Unfortunately, I no longer game right handed and hate the Egro which voids this from being a viable choice for me.

Not sure if a FW update can solve this. Seems to be related to a controller bug, and or height/led config. Some batches may perform better simply due to tolerance on specific HW. As you said, surfacing is important.

I swapped hand orientation and now game with my dominant left hand. Took at least 6-8 months to get comfortable, but worth it in my case.

So which mouse do you use now?

Used a Left hand 3.5G DA for around 8 months. Messed with a lot of mice, but I'm quite limited with my preferences...

Sensei vanilla/Xai works good for me at the moment. Seems medium to large ambidextrous mice are scarce tongue.gif Value design and ergonomics a lot more these days.

Rofl I'll take your word biggrin.gif

I thought I read yet above the Deathadder 3.5g was a more accurate tracking of its dedicated driver not like the new redface.gif

In terms of accuracy and quality of tracking my ranking here :

Roccat Savu > Deathadder 3,5g or Black Edition > Logitech G400 > Deathadder 4G (because driver Synapse who corrupt the calculation tracking)

Do you agree with my final ranking because I can not make up my mind and I do not want to buy these 4 mice at the same time tongue.gif
