Mouse with the best tracking in march 2013 - Page 9

At 800DPI Savu has the best sensor I've ever tried. I liked it so much that someone is making a mod for me of Savu internals inside a Sensei shape. The precision is amazing on a Puretrak Talent pad.

For me, it absolutely feels different. I actually thought the Zowie felt "off" at 2300 dpi, and better at 1200 dpi. I don't have any scientific evidence to back this up, just going off how it felt (adjusting in game sensitivity to compensate).

Thanks for the tip! Though Amazon doesn't appear to be selling it. I'm a sucker for prime shipping.

Weird. I can feel only a very slight difference between those levels, in advantage of 2300 dpi. 2300 is the only native step after all.

But Savu feels better, huh? Neat. Hopefully Roccat is wise enough to release differently shaped mice with the same internals.

Didn't know it was discontinued, german amazon still had it. Glad I already bought a spare one.

What mouse between the Deathadder 2013 and the Roccat Savu has the very best tracking ???

Specs of the Roccat Savu (thx overclocker Arizonian for info in youre savu rewiew) : 20g of accel + ~60 inches per second maximum speed

Specs of the Deathadder : 50g of accel !!! + ~200 inches per second at maximum speed !!!

I think it's the DA 2013 who have best tracking/precision because she has better spec and support more accel and maximum speed

The Savu's max speed is higher than 60 ips on the right surface. On both the Talent and the NP+ I got >4.1 m/s

Also don't care for any accel higher than 10g, you won't be able to go above that anyway. Even the fastest hands don't go over 10g (look for a video of Bob Munden, a guy who does fast shooting with SAA revolvers, he reaches 10g and that's beyond what I could ever do (EDIT: here it is)
I can't say if DA 2013 is better or worse because I never tested it, but I can vouch for the Savu having the best cursor precision of any mouse I have ever played with. Better than the old DA 3G and 3.5G.

I finally order on amazon.fr (3 years that I had to do it) new mouse and keyboard (this night). biggrin.gif

I ordered two G9X (one to replace the one that will fail because it is no longer manufactured) and possibly a deathadder 2013 or Savu for my brother or me if ever I prefer than G9x (i'm clawgripper but i can adapt at all handgrip). My noob little brother play League of Legend i hate this game tongue.gif

Now I hesitate for the type of mechanical switch between blacks, reds, browns see blue for gaming worriedsmiley.gif

Really hard to make a decision, my gaming style is very quick and brutal and don't like mushy/soft key press i like hit key very deep and brutaly tongue.gif

which do you recommend? (i know it's not the good forum)

Black.
Red is my fav, linear as black but much lighter to press. (I spam buttons alot and black is to hard for me)

Black require abit of force to press, so if your a terminator masher black should suite you well.
