$387 + $20 rebate.
These have been at $400-410 for a while, so not too bad.

Ugh.. Why would anyone purchase this card? The 7950 is $100 cheaper NOT on sale and works just as well as a 670, right?

I'm so confused right now how this is a good deal.

This card out of the box performs just as good as a GTX 680, so I think ~$360 for it sounds pretty good IMO.

I guess but after seeing the benchmarks on 7950 vs 680 even that is not worth it. Muchless the 670 FTW edition. Just my opinion... but benchmarks are showing you're paying $100 premium for 10-15 fps? Meh.

drivers are just so much better with Nvidia. Unless something changed recently

Yeah true that is what a lot of people on forums have been saying. I have historically stuck to AMD what do they mean better drivers?

And some people need cuda or want physx. That's why I went 670, my 4gb of ram didn't hurt.

670 ftw is hands down the best price/performance card. I've seen a lot of people skipping 680s to get 670 ftw. Afaik, 670 ftw is like 5 fps less than stock 680. You can OC and easily go above stock 680, let alone when you water cool it (matches every 680 block out there). I seriously, seriously don't see a point in getting a 680 over a 670 ftw. You're getting the same PCB, a select 670 chip ('picked') and you pay a 100-150$ less (depends on the deal). More 'win' than that? biggrin.gif

PS,
You also get great driver support and physx (no need to fiddle with complicated installations like on AMD).
