Lol my father games and his rig is about 6-7 years old. I go on his pc and its so damn slow. I'm always telling him its about that time and I think he might be interested this time after playing some bf3.

You already decided on MSI...but you haven't bought it yet. Why don't you get the Gigabyte card? I heard it overclocks better. And is quieter at a lower overclock.

Or even better. Why don't you get a GTX 670 FTW (which has a GTX 680 board right?) and then buy the GELID Icy Vision Rev 2 cooler? Quiet fans AND guaranteed awesome performance because of the binned card+the better heatsink. Would be $50 extra though for the cooler.

I just bought a EVGA GTX 670 SC model that I wasn't aware of recalled sometime last year and was being RMA'd for the FTW version you listed. I bought the card off of clearance shelf at Microcenter for $300 and I hit up EVGA jacobf asking what I should do with the card since it was a recalled model through email and I may return it. Next day later I got a email about advanced rma and that they are currently shipping me the $400 FTW model smile.gif EVGA rocks man I'd get that FTW model just because they got such great customer service.

Go with EVGA, the have great cust service that is available 24/7. They also don't void your warranty as long as you ship the card back to them in the state that you received it ie putting back stock parts such as coolers

I have overclocked other variants, not exactly the Twin Frozr as yet. But it shouldn't be that bad or that much difference in overclocking.
